  • Tone is independent from insurance and follows a direct care model. Anyone, regardless of whether they are insured or not, can come to Tone. Please read more about our direct care model to improve access to dermatologic care here.

At Tone, we employ a direct-care model in an effort to bring care back to healthcare. We wholly believe in the doctor-patient relationship and have created a simple, approachable alternative to traditional insurance-based medicine.

We’ve designed our membership process to ensure a seamless, personalized experience.

  • Apply for a Consultation: Begin by filling out the membership application form on our Memberships page.
  • Receive an Invitation: After reviewing your application, we’ll extend an invitation to book if we feel TONE is the right fit for your skincare goals. This helps ensure that every patient receives the high-touch, individualized care we’re known for. If selected, you’ll receive an email with a booking link to schedule your consultation.
  • Prepare for Your Visit: During booking, you’ll complete a brief skin survey, review our Code of Conduct, preview membership agreement, and confirm your appointment.
  • Your Consultation: Meet with Dr. Robinson for an in-depth, personalized skin assessment. Together, you’ll develop a tailored plan designed to fit your life, not the other way around.
  • Join the TONE Membership: Following your visit, you’ll have the option to join our membership program for exclusive benefits and ongoing care. Sign up in-office, via your personalized membership link, or through Cherry (our financing partner).

Each membership includes a unique code and custom booking link for easy access. Your $500 consultation fee is fully credited toward your membership if you enroll in-office.
