Office Policies

IMPORTANT: Please read our office policies including arrival, reservation fee, and cancellation policies in detail below. Appointment cancellations will occur if ALL required paperwork is not complete prior to arrival.


Please text “I AM HERE” to FIVE minutes prior to your arrival from the phone number listed in your file. Our phone line will only receive texts in this format, please do not text your name or any other additional information. Please do not await a reply, proceed to the entrance and ring the doorbell located to the right of the door once you arrive. A staff member will meet you at the door. Note that our door remains locked for everyones safety.


Tone Dermatology follows a direct care practice model independent from insurance. Your reservation fee will be requested at check in at your appointment. For virtual reservations, an email invoice with payment link will be sent prior to your visit. Please note that for your safety, Tone Dermatology is cashless and 90% paperless. We accept most major credit cards and FSA/HSA.


We value your safety and for that reason we adhere to a stick pandemic response protocol (viewable on our website at Please thoroughly review both prior to your appointment. Please notify our office if you need to reschedule after reviewing these policies and guidelines. If you arrive to your appointment with a history of symptoms or exposure within the last two weeks (regardless of vaccination status) you will be asked to reschedule.


To CANCEL your reservation, please send an email to with a request to cancel. Alternatively, you will receive a reminder text 3 days prior to your appointment and you can request to cancel directly in reply to that text. PLEASE NOTE THAT LATE CANCELLATIONS (within 24 hours) WILL INCUR A CANCELLATION FEE OF $100. To reschedule your appointment, we ask that you follow the steps above to cancel and then resubmit an appointment request via our website. Our calendars online at are updated in real time with the soonest available appointments for your convenience. Slight modifications to your appointment can be requested via email. Part of what allows our staff to create the best care experience for you is their presence during your experience and in follow up of your care. Requesting appointment changes via phone is STRONGLY discouraged for this reason.
